Resin models can be wrapped with pre-made embossed foil or with our Model-Tech® smart skin. We offer the highest quality wrapping expertise of its kind in the world, delivered in five weeks.

A Rapid Metal Model is a low-cost fast option, delivering high-quality material with zero imperfections. Textures can be perfectly rendered fit-to-form and laser engraved or digitally etched, and then delivered within six weeks.

A CNC high-grade steel master mandrel can be laser engraved or digitally engraved.

IMG Vacuum Molds

The exclusive Rapid Additive Deposition technology is the fastest process on the market and can produce shells and tools with high resolution of difficult design geometry and texture fidelity. The shells’ vacuum efficiency is engineered to the part geometry for optimal part quality.

When you need a complete tool solution, we offer thermoform trim systems, press bond/lamination and clamp frames. We also provide Try-Out capabilities for prototypes, VP, M1 and service parts.

Electroformed Nickel Shells

High-precision nickel shell molds are specifically designed to withstand the extreme production conditions of your process. Features such as inset laser reinforcements are engineered to maximize the life of your shell’s performance. Standex Engraving Mold-Tech is the only nickel shell supplier producing in three global locations: Portugal, USA and China.

Direct Etching

We are the only Nickel Shell Tooling supplier that can directly etch texture patterns and specialty finishes into the surface of a nickel shell. We utilize this exclusive technique to texture a quick-shell, where etching directly onto the shell surface expedites the shell building timeline. Direct-Etching onto an existing textured shell is also possible, and is done to control gloss levels, create new texture and surface finish effects, or refurbish a worn texture finish.
